My CD player started skipping so I cleaned it with a CD cleaner I bough a from the shop, Most of the songs are playing perfectly fine but a few times it will skip or not play certain songs yet the CD will play fine on other machines.Step 1. There can be smudges on the data side. I backup my discs to NAS and have to do this quite often. PC drives are more sensitive.
