I have rolled these in to / out from Woo Audio WA2, WA3. 100% agree, regarding the GE 5-star 5670. I have the 5-star red in my Vali 2++, and it is a phenomenal tube. To my ears, it does... Just heard a friends new Heretic and Sundara. Quite impressive for the money. I haven't heard that many lower end Schiit integrateds. It's not as good as the Lyr, but its a lot cheaper. I agree the highs are from the dry/mechanical school, but, I was using my Gumby A1 which is pretty mellow. Its like the T1s just gained in PRAT (pace, rhythm and timing) with the result of more obvious emotion in the music. Pros: Clear sound, multiple inputs, compact, and aesthetically pleasing. Cons: Input navigator seems loose. Sound - 10/10: As expected, Schiit made a few improvements when developing the M2U. In comparison to it's predecessor, the original Modi, the M2U seems more passive. Power is rated at 4.2w into 32ohms and 600mw into 300 – which is to say plenty. Internal PCB is white and components are very high quality. Add-in cards are supported of course making this a compelling all-in-one solution.
