Tighten the nut to 22-25 ft lbs, turn the wheel a couple of revolutions, check that the nut is still at 22-25 ft lbs. Loosen the nut 1/8 turn, and then tighten it with your hand only. Put the cotter pin in place.

Next the brakes need to be reassembled starting with putting the brake rotor back into place and then installing the brake bracket back onto the vehicle.
