The suspected kill switch is the problem which I did not touch through out my trip and instead used the key to turn the ignition off. solution 1: Do not use the kill switch to cut the power. I ride over a hundred miles daily on my GS, and I’m just over 7,000 miles with these tires and about ready to buy a new set. If anyone has had …Dec 27, 2015 · I own 2014 R1200GS w/ approx. 9k miles, purchased new, and it has been near flawless. Could not be happier with the bike, and would definitely buy again. In addition, if I could only own one bike, the GS definitely would be it. The only thing that failed on the bike was the start/stop rocker switch. .
