The writers moved her over to Angel. It wouldn't have made sense for Cordelia to go to college with Buffy, Willow and Xander, a group of people that she quite frankly didn't like. I don't think she really had any choice in the matter. On BtVS she was always peripheral, whereas on Angel she got to be the equivalent of Xander or Willow. I've seen .... Damplips.colm
