Cast out the diving board to the desired distance. Tie off the Stella to your gunnel and throw the Stella in the water. I would fish #80 to #100 Braid on the popping rod with #130 or #100 Fluor leader. If you hook into a nice Cubera you will need it, and the fish don't seem to mind the heavier leader.
