Today we drove out to get dinner and I was admiring how clean and clear the windshield was because I had cleaned it off earlier today. To use one, you must be comfortable drilling a small hole into the top layer of glass with a 1/16-inch drill bit. Next, force the specialized resin from the repair kit into the hole to seal the glass, reduce stress on the windshield, and stop cracks from forming. If you do the job well, this may be the only repair you need. .
